Chester le Street Primary Care Network has now received delivery of the vaccines required to commence the roll out of the COVID vaccination program: phase 3 (booster).

The first clinics will commence during the week commencing 27th September, 2021 and are for patients in the following categories who received their second vaccination over six month ago:-*those living in residential care homes for older adults (practices are busy liaising with care homes to facilitate their staff visiting the care homes to carry out the vaccinations

• all adults aged 50 years or over
• frontline health and social care workers
• all those aged 16 to 49 years with underlying health conditions that put them at higher risk of severe COVID-19 (as set out in the green book),
• and adult carers adult household contacts of immunosuppressed individuals”

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT YOUR SURGERY, as practices will be inviting patients to attend the local vaccination site in Chester le Street, in strict order from the date the second vaccination was received.

Flu Jabs

We are finally underway with our 2021 Flu Jab Campaign, We’ve contacted the majority of our waiting list and have now vaccinated over 550 patients across our clinics. We kindly ask if you have been booked in for a flu jab, and receive it elsewhere before your appointment that you ring and cancel with us, as another patient could have that appointment.
