Booking An Appointment

If you wish to see a doctor, please make an appointment either by calling at the surgery or telephoning 0191 387 3558 or 01207 290032. We operate a same day appointment system; you will be offered an appointment for the same day that you contact us on, or the next working day. A number of pre bookable slots should be available on request up to 1 month in advance. We will try to accommodate all *emergency appointments on the same day.

Since the start of the Covid Pandemic all of our GP Contacts have become a same-day telephone triage system, Meaning that when you ring, A member of our trained reception team will ask for brief details regarding your aliments (you do not have to provide this), After this you will either be offered an appointment for the morning/afternoon dependant when you ring, Or an AccuRX Triage Text, We will always try to offer a sameday appointment, but due to cut-off times this might not always be possible.

Our Nurse appointments have not changed, They are still seeing all patients routinely, If you are overdue any procedures please do not hesitate to contact us and get yourself booked in.

Telephoning for Advice

Telephone the receptionist and tell them your needs. If they cannot help, they can arrange for you to speak to a doctor, though they may not be immediately available as they may be consulting with a patient. The doctors will not take telephone calls during surgery times, other than in an emergency.

Chaperones

Your healthcare professional may also require a chaperone to be present for certain consultations in accordance with our chaperone policy.

If you wish to have member of the Practice staff present during your consultation please mention this to our reception staff on arrival and it will be arranged.
